Bedroom storage works best when it fits the room properly. Not too wide, not too shallow, and with enough drawers to actually keep things tidy.
At The Urban Furnishing, the chest of drawers range is built from strong MDF with a high gloss finish. You can choose from 4, 5, or 6 drawer options depending on how much storage you need, with most models available in white, grey, dark grey, and black. Free delivery on every order across the UK.
Our Chest of Drawers Styles
4 Drawer Chest of Drawers
The Amalfi 4 Drawer Chest is the compact option in the range. High gloss front, handleless push-to-open design, and available in four colours. It works well in smaller bedrooms or as a secondary storage unit alongside a wardrobe.
5 Drawer Chest of Drawers
Four models sit in the 5 drawer category, each with a different take on storage and finish.
The Amalfi 5 Drawer Chest keeps things simple with a clean handleless front. The Soofia 5 Drawer Chest follows the same handleless approach but with a slightly different drawer layout that suits rooms where you want more depth per drawer.
The Riga 5 Drawer Chest is the only model in the range with chrome handles, which gives it a sharper finish against the high gloss front. It also comes in two widths 60cm and 80cm so you can pick based on your wall space rather than settling for a size that does not quite fit.
The Capri 5 Drawer Chest is different from the rest. It has a hanging cabinet built above the five drawers, giving you both folded and hanging storage in one unit. A useful option if your wardrobe is already full and you need somewhere to hang a few extra items.
6 Drawer Chest of Drawers
Three models offer 6 drawers, all handleless with a high gloss front.
The Amalfi 6 Drawer Chest and Sofia 6 Drawer Chest are good all-round options for bedrooms where you need serious drawer space without the unit dominating the room.
The Valencia 6 Drawer Chest is the widest model in the range. If you have the wall space and want to maximise storage, this is the one. It suits master bedrooms where the chest of drawers is doing most of the heavy lifting.
Handleless Chest of Drawers
Most models in the range use a push-to-open handleless design. It keeps the front clean and makes wiping down the unit much easier. The Amalfi, Sofia, Capri, and Valencia models all follow this approach.
Chest of Drawers with Chrome Handles
The Riga 5 Drawer Chest is the only model with polished chrome handles. It suits bedrooms with a more contemporary or defined finish where you want the furniture to stand out slightly rather than blend in.
Choosing the Right Chest of Drawers
Start with drawer count.
A 4 drawer chest covers the basics for a smaller room. The Amalfi 4 Drawer is the one to look at here, and it also works as a secondary unit if your main storage is already taken care of.
For most bedrooms, 5 drawers is the right balance. The Sofia 5 Drawer and Amalfi 5 Drawer are clean and straightforward. If you have a specific width to fill, look at the Riga, two size options give you more flexibility than the other models. If you also need hanging space, the Capri solves that problem without needing a separate unit.
If you are furnishing a larger bedroom and need maximum drawer space, go with one of the 6 drawer options. The Valencia 6 Drawer is the widest in the range and is built for rooms where storage is a priority.

FAQs
How many drawers do I need?
A 4 drawer chest works for smaller bedrooms or as a secondary unit. Five drawers covers most medium bedrooms without the unit getting too large. Six drawers is the right choice for a master bedroom or anywhere you need to store a lot in one place.
Is the Riga chest available in different widths?
Yes. The Riga 5 Drawer Chest comes in 60cm and 80cm widths, which makes it easier to fit into a specific gap on your wall without having to compromise.
What finish do the chest of drawers have?
High gloss front with anti-scratch surfaces and soft-close drawers on every model. Easy to wipe down and built to stay looking clean with regular use.
What makes the Capri different from the other models?
The Capri 5 Drawer Chest has a hanging cabinet built above the drawers, so you get both folded and hanging storage in one unit. It is the only model in the range that offers this.
Do all models come in the same colours?
Yes. Every model is available in white, grey, dark grey, and black.
How long does assembly take?
Most customers have the unit built in under two hours. Everything you need is included in the box.
